Laura M. Tyrrell 

PRINCIPAL

Laura is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a specialist in Estates and Trusts law and practices exclusively in the area of estate planning and administration in her sole practice in Toronto. Laura established her practice in 2004 after working for 16 years cumulatively at a large downtown law firm, a trust company, and a small law firm.


Laura received her LL.B. from Queen’s University in 1985, was called to the bar in 1987 and received her LL.M (tax) from York University in 2001.

Laura has written and presented numerous papers on the topics of estate planning and administration for the Law Society of Ontario and the Ontario Bar Association. She is a past instructor of the Bar Admission Course, Estate Planning and Administration, and a current member of the Solicitors Advisory Group at the Law Society of Ontario which reviews licensing requirements for new lawyers. Laura has also been a faculty instructor at the estate planning and administration course and the will drafting course at the Osgoode Hall Law School Professional Development Programme.

Laura is a member of the Society of Estates and Trusts Practitioners (STEP).

Rosamund J. Witchel

Rosamund is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University (Physical Education and History) and Trent University (Bachelor of Arts, Honours). She has worked as a senior legal secretary at a large Toronto law firm. Rosamund assists with all aspects of estate planning and administration. Rosamund is a long-time volunteer with the Women’s Auxiliary Volunteers of The Hospital for Sick Children where she has held several board positions.
